Salmon was established in 1989, the year Tim Berners-Lee invented the WorldWide Web. We became part of the WPP group in 2013, acquiring Neoworks in 2014 and Eperium in 2016.

Being part of a family gives us access to investment and resources so we can scale our offering globally. It also means we bring Salmon creativity and know-how in digital commerce to the installed base we share with our family members - so everybody wins.

Established in 1999 as Salmon Netherlands with offices in Amsterdam and New Delhi and a team of 200, the former Eperium develops digital commerce solutions across B2C, B2B and grocery sectors for brands in the Benelux markets including: Bunzl, Jumbo, NS, Plus Supermarkten, Sligro, TomTom, Xerox, and in India where it works with Asian Paints, Staples and Videocon.

Salmon Netherlands runs the world's largest Intershop Commerce Suite platform development centre and is one of only 5 global platinum partners. It has also developed a world-leading Master Data Management (MDM/PIM) practice partnering with Informatica. It has a reputation for its delivery capabilities with 100% implementation success across all clients.

Eperium, now Salmon Netherlands, is also seen as an innovator in the development of mobile and app loyalty solutions.
