Salmon acquires global ecommerce & digital consultancy Eperium

London, UK: 15th December, 2016: Global ecommerce consultancy Salmon, a WPP company, today announced it has acquired Netherlands-based Eperium a leading digital and ecommerce consultancy.

The acquisition gives Salmon, which has a presence in the UK, USA, China and Australia, access to the fast growing northern European markets where Eperium has a strong presence. It also offers entry into the high growth market of India, where Eperium has operated since 2003. In addition, Salmon will now add Intershop Commerce Suite and Informatica Product Information Management (PIM) to its technology portfolio and delivery capability which already includes IBM, SAP Hybris and Magento.

Upon completion of the acquisition, the Eperium staff which is 200+ strong will become part of Salmon and will be located in their existing countries. This makes Salmon one of the world’s largest team of ecommerce experts supporting global clients to drive more than €7.5 billion in revenue annually through their online platforms.
