SALMON SUPPORTS ILLY’S GLOBAL PLATFORM THAT UNDERPINS ITS BUSINESS
The world-renowned Italian coffee brand illycaffe (illy) needed a partner that could help it take its global platform into new strategic markets and extend global reach.
Salmon was selected to support the platform serving illy’s B2B and B2C customers in Europe, the US and APAC, handling its current and future ecommerce needs. Salmon were directly responsible for supporting the platform consisting of IBM WebSphere Application Suite, Sales Center and several eShops.
In addition, Salmon delivered a new mobile commerce site for the US and Italy stores in less than 4 weeks. Helped launch 7 new European and US mobile sites and delivered a fully integrated and seamless experience across social, consumer and online, ensuring a more engaging omnichannel experience for both B2B and B2C buyers.
Salmon developed a new Austrian storefront using IBM WebSphere Commerce’s extended sites functionality, implemented a new payment gateway to align the US and European stores, improved the subscription flow across channels including online and mobile and integrated illy’s Oracle order management system with the ecommerce platform.
